The First Resurrection

I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Rev 20:4-5 (NIV)

According to the Lord’s own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 1Th 4:15-17 (NIV)

Logical Conclusion 1 : Since the rapture (catching up) occurs after the dead in Christ are raised first (The first resurrection). And, since the first resurrection occurs after believers have been beheaded for not having received the mark of the beast. Then, the only logical and biblical conclusion is;  Believers are here on earth during the reign of the beast and the mark of the anti-Christ.

Resurrected Bodies

Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed– in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. Co 15:51-53 (NIV)

If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; Phi 1:22-23 (NIV)

Logical Conclusion 2 : The purpose of a resurrected body, which we receive when Jesus returns, is to reign with him on earth not in heaven. Paul clearly articulates that to die is to be united with Christ. We do not need a transformed body to be in heaven. We need a transformed body for here on earth.
